Eastleigh MP Mims Davies and Fareham MP Suella Fernandes took part in a coffee & cake event at the King & Queen pub in Hamble on Saturday 23rd July.
The pair spoke about recent events like the appointment of the new Prime Minister and Brexit, one month on from the EU referendum. The event was from 10 to 11.30am at the pub on the High Street, and about 30 people were in attendance.
“There’s certainly a lot to talk about with people over coffee and cake and I know we both learned a lot from hearing what local people had to say about what has happened over the last month” said Mims.
“About 30 local residents were able to pop in on Saturday; locally many people have stopped me to have a chat about the whirlwind few weeks in Westminster and the event provided a great opportunity to listen and learn more of people’s thoughts. ”
