On Tuesday 27th october, Mims Davies MP made a speech in an adjournment debate that she had requested to raise awareness of the issue of Young Sudden Cardiac Death (YSCD).
Mims asked the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health, Jane Ellison MP, to ensure that more defibrilators be installed in public places, and to give more young people the opportunity to be screened for cardiac problems.
The debate was well-attended with much interest from both sides of the House.
