The Member of Parliament for Eastleigh, Mims Davies has sprung forward into April with a residents’ survey and is urging constituents to have their say.
The survey, aimed at all Eastleigh constituents, covers both local and national issues, from green spaces to reducing queues on local roads and onto national defence and security.
Launching the survey, Eastleigh MP, Mims Davies said:
“As Eastleigh’s MP I’ve always been passionate about listening to local people and hearing what their priorities are for our area and our country.”
“While I remain determined to deliver Brexit, I also want to look above and beyond Brexit, and ahead to the local and national issues that my constituents want me to focus on as their local MP – adding to what I hear from community groups, in constituency surgeries and key local stakeholders.“
“Locally we have seen real progress in the past decade, from securing funding for the Botley Bypass to increasing spending on our NHS and mental health services, to how many more local people are in stable full-time employment, however, there is always room for improvements and this is a chance for people in our area to put forward their ideas.”
The survey goes live TODAY (9th April 2019) and the Eastleigh MP will be feeding the results of the survey into local stakeholders, Government Departments and Ministers, and will be updating local residents afterwards.
