The Member of Parliament for Mid Sussex, Mims Davies has strongly echoed calls from the South East Coast Ambulance Service to go to hospital if you need to do so. Mims is keen to point out to constituents that COVID-19 patients are kept separate from other admissions so there is no reason not to go in if you need to.
Commenting, The Member of Parliament for Mid Sussex, Mims Davies said:
“Our NHS has done an amazing job in combating in the COVID-19 pandemic. Our communities across Mid Sussex and beyond have done an excellent job keeping hospital admissions low. As we move out of the peak of the outbreak significantly lower numbers of people are being admitted to hospital compared to last year.
“If you need treatment, if you have had an accident, if you are ill, seek proper advice as you may need to go to hospital. The NHS are there to help us whatever the healthcare issue. So let’s help them by not staying away from doctors and hospitals and possibly putting unnecessary burden on our ambulance crews and paramedics.”
Ends.
