Mims Davies MP celebrates International Dog Day as Westminster Dog of the Year approaches for 2025
Mims Davies's cockapoo TJ has held the crown of Westminster Dog of the Year for 2 years.
The 10-year-old pup proved age is no barrier to excellence as he confidently pranced through the annual competition in London 's picturesque Victoria Tower Gardens in the stunning sunshine.
This prestigious award for Westminster Dog of the Year is organised by the Kennel Club and and Dogs Trust and this year, Mims is thrilled to be a judge.
A large number of MPs' pups have entered the competition this year to become the winner and take their crown. One MPs dog who experienced a brush with death is running for the coveted award, as well as Kevin Holinrake's Labrador retriever, Zuzu - a key campaigner on the doorstep!
Mims Davies MP said:
Today is International Dog Day!
For the past 2 years, I'm proud to say my TJ has been the Westminster Dog of the Year, but the time has come to hand the crown back!
This year I’m honoured to be one of the judges for this prestigious award and can’t wait to see all the pup-tacular entries!
See you there!
