Mims Davies MP hosts Women's Business Breakfast at Weirwood Reservoir Café followed by Southern Water and Environment Agency meeting
Mims was thrilled to host another of her Women's Leadership Business Breakfasts with her team in Forest Row at Weirwood Reservoir Cafe.
This was a fantastic chance for ladies in our local area to network with likeminded women, hear from incredible and inspiring speakers, and speak with their local Member of Parliament and raise any issues.
Brilliant business women joined Mims and the team starting their day with inspiration, connection, and an opportunity to come together, share ideas, and support one another's growth.
There was also a delicious continental breakfast comprising of croissants, pain au raisin, pain au chocolate, fruit, jam, Nutella, tea, coffee and more whilst hearing from the inspiring speakers:
Tom Hicks - Conservationist, Adventurer, and Speaker
Tom's aim is to promote conservation and to be a force for positive change. Tom believes the conservation of our wildlife and environment is the most pressing issue facing us today.
“Only together can we can save the planet.”
Karen Pickering – Retired Olympic Swimmer and local business woman
Karen is a former competitive freestyle swimmer from Great Britain. Karen was the first woman to win an individual World Championship gold medal in swimming for Great Britain at the 1993 FINA Short Course World Championships in the 200 metre freestyle and was part of the team that won relay gold three times for Great Britain in both long course (2001) and short course (1999, 2000) world championships.
Following the Business Breakfast, Mims had also organised a meeting with Southern Water and the Environment Agency to discuss serious matters.
