Following on from a burst water pipe near Burgess Hill Football Club today, Mims and her team have been responding to constituents all day who have been affected by this distressing situation.
As soon as Mims and her team became aware of the incident first thing this morning, South East Water was contacted and up to date information sought. Since then, Mims has been updating constituents on social media, whilst her team has been giving advice to constituents over the phone, directing them to live updates and maps on the South East Water website: https://inyourarea.digdat.co.uk/southeastwater?pc=burgess%20hill
Please let Mims know if you require any more support including not being able to access bottled water through contacting her on mims.davies.mp@parliament.uk or on the constituency office 01444-616061. Mims will continue to provide updates here on her website as well as on social media.
Mims is meeting with the Chief Executive of South East Water shortly, where she will be raising the serious water shortages experienced by Mid Sussex constituents in August as well as the current unacceptable debacle with them and essentially she will seek real answers to this disastrous incident and the need for proper compensation.
