Mims Davies MP joined by Dr Neil Hudson, Shadow DEFRA Minister, at the South of England Show
The South of England Agricultural Society is a registered charity dedicated to funding and supporting agricultural education and countryside learning.
Mims was thrilled to be at the South of England Show in Ardingly speaking with residents, farmers, and businesses this weekend.
This brilliant show offers all ages the chance to connect with the countryside and have a fantastic weekend out. This show features a non-stop programme of agricultural and equestrian displays, country pursuits, live entertainment, rural crafts and an abundance of food, drink and shopping opportunities.
Mims was joined by fellow colleague and Shadow DEFRA Minister, Dr Neil Hudson from Epping Forest.

It’s brilliant to be here in Ardingly alongside Andrew, a local pig and arable farmer as well as the Chair of NFU West Sussex. And my colleague, Dr Neil Hudson, and Shadow DEFRA Minister who came to join us from Epping Forest - thank you Neil.
We were engaging and listening to farmers, CLA, NFU, sheep judges, and many constituents on what the rural economy, farmers, producers, and our community needs and how we can help.
It’s a really challenging time for this industry and we need to do all we can to support and back our incredibly hard-working British farmers and rural economy.
