Mims Davies MP joins Ashdown Cafe in Danehill commemorating former resident
Join the lovely group of residents every 2nd Friday of the month 10am - midday at Danehill Memorial Hall.
Cllr Roy Galley gave a moving eulogy for Sylvia Martin MBE and what a fabulous character she was.
All ages are welcome - young and old - they even provide toys for the children who join for some yummy cake and biscuits.

It was an honour to join residents of Danehill today at the Ashdown Cafe - their wonderful atmosphere definitely counteracted the soggy weather we've been having today.
This fantastic group of ladies all volunteer and work so hard to bring the community together once a month, every month.
Some of these lovely residents don't see people for weeks and greatly look forward to joining other residents in a warm and welcoming environment with amazing cake, biscuits, tea, coffee and most importantly, a friendly chat.
I highly recommend joining this fantastic group of residents, you will be sure to arrive to big smiles and the warmest welcome.
