I joined the brilliant Uckfield Leisure Centre meeting with their CEO, Ivan.
It was a pleasure to meet with Ivan, Toby, and the local team discussing their current refurbishment and their great 10 year plan and see them going from strength to strength.
Seeing so many people there keeping fit and healthy in the run up to Christmas was inspiring - and definitely put me to shame!
A huge well done everyone whose still keeping active during these colder months - I know it’s not easy - and it's fantastic for not only our physical health, but also mental health, which can really struggle for so many this time of year.
The team also told me about their fantastic ‘Learn to Swim’ programme for youngsters - this is such an important life skill and so great to see available for our residents!
