Mims Davies MP to Launch Survey on Nationalisation of Rail Inviting Residents to Share their Views
Mims Davies MP is launching a new constituency wide online survey to gather residents' views on the nationalisation of Britain's railways and how rail services can be improved for passengers in EGU and beyond.
This survey will give local people the opportunity to officially share their experiences with their local MP of using the rail network, including reliability, affordability, accessibility, and value for money.
It will also ask whether residents believe rail nationalisation has let to better services and what changes they would like to see in the future.
Mims Davies MP said:
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to contact me and share your views and experiences regarding the nationalisation of our trains.
I have been listening carefully to the feedback from constituents across East Grinstead, Uckfield, and our villages.
Reliable rail services are vital for our EGU communities, connecting people to work, education, healthcare, and family.
It is fair to say the views I have received so far have been far from positive, with many of you sharing concerns about the impact this change has had on your daily journeys.
It is important every voice is heard, which is why I will soon be launching a formal survey to gather the views of all constituents across EGU.
I look forward to hearing from even more of you and ensuring your experiences and concerns are properly represented and raised in my next meeting.
