Mims Davies MP is pleased to share Asda Foundation's announcement for new funding for grassroots organisations in East Grinstead, Uckfield, and the villages.
At Asda, they put their customers, colleagues and communities at the heart of everything they do. That’s why more than £50m has been invested into local communities by Asda’s charity, the Asda Foundation, since 2012.
As a community focussed business, and to continue this important work, the Asda Foundation has announced up to £500,000 of funding to help support young people in our communities including East Grinstead, Uckfield, and the villages. Mims is thrilled this is with a particular focus on mental health and wellbeing.
Grants awarded will be worth between £500 and £1,000 and are aimed at helping grassroots groups support young people between the ages of 13 and 21.
Funding is available to groups who meet at least one of the following objectives:
- Provide services that support, educate and empower.
- Connect young people to their peers.
- Support rehabilitation and recovery and provide shelter.
- Deliver activities / programmes that improve physical health and wellbeing.
