On the subject of trains - Mims also asked back in February for a meeting to discuss the situation in Wivelsfield with the All Access Programme with Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill, Minister of State for Transport, but Mims has yet to receive a response.
Mims Davies MP said:
I'm pleased to have some good news for residents travelling on trains!
There has been an increase to off peak services in the Easter timetable, running between Monday 30th March and Friday 10th April. During these dates, there will be a consistent half hourly, all day service on the East Grinstead to London Victoria route.
8 additional trains will run between Monday and Wednesday, bringing these days in line with the half hourly service already offered for the remainder of the week.
This will give passengers greater flexibility for leisure travel and later starts throughout the Easter holidays.
