Mims Davies MP updates East Grinstead residents on Water Shortage
Mims has been in regular communication with South East Water regarding the water shortage on behalf of residents of East Grinstead, Uckfield, and the villages.
Mims Davies MP said:
I know there has been water shortage in East Grinstead and I have been contacting South East Water who have provided the below water supply update:
"East Grinstead
We’re aware of a burst water main at Blackwell Hollow, East Grinstead. We have technicians on site and we’re moving water around our network to limit the impact of the burst.
Our teams are also in contact with Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead and we’re working to support the hospital using our fleet of tankers.
We are already looking at the actions we need to take to prevent this happening again."
