On Sunday 20th September 2020, Eoghan McHugh will be cycling 66 times up and down Firle Bostal.
Eoghan says, “I am riding a big hill too many times! for Surfers Against Sewage. It’s a great personal challenge and a good cause. I am looking for this ride to create a focal point for the Sussex Community and I hope to raise £10,000 from this challenge. Your physical support on the day or a donation would be very gratefully received. Firle Beacon is a beautiful part of Sussex to visit. Any cyclists that wish to accompany me for a hill or two! will be most welcome. My Facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/events/576128259733135/ and you can donate at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/stories-from-a-man-and-his-bike”
Mims Davies, MP for Mid Sussex comments:
“I am delighted to be supporting Eoghan on his amazing challenge. As previous Minister for Sport and as a sometime marathon runner myself I am always keen to support challenges such as these and I know just how much effort goes into completing one! This will be an extreme endurance test for Eoghan, one I am sure he will conquer. I wish him all the best in completing this monumental challenge and raising his goal of £10,000 for Surfers Against Sewerage. Our oceans are so important and the work of groups like Surfers Against Sewage is brilliant to see and to be applauded.”
Ends.
