Hard working tax payers in Eastleigh are in for a tax reduction under the next government led by the Conservatives.
The tax-free personal allowance will be increased from £10,000 to £12,500 and we will raise the 40p tax rate threshold from £41,900 to £50,000.
The Conservative government will protect the NHS budget.
Eastleigh residents will see their doctors surgerys staying open for longer so that everyone will be able to receive the treatment and care they need.
I echo David Cameron's view that "we will make sure every child gets a great education so they can reach their potential. And for those retiring, we will make sure you get a decent pension and real rewards for a life of work. A good job, a nice home, more money at the end of the month, a decent education for your children, a safe and secure retirement. A country where if you put in, you get out."
The NHS budget will be protected as the Conservatives will invest more by recruiting more medical staff for the local hospital and will endeavour to get all patients seen by their GPs and surgeries staying open for longer and for residents to have access to their named doctor. This will mean that Eastleigh residents will see their surgeries open for 7 days a week with longer hours.
