The Member of Parliament for Eastleigh, Mims Davies, has called on her constituents to attend various information events taking place this month, where they can have their questions over proposals to expand the runway at Southampton Airport answered.
Southampton Airport – which is based in Eastleigh - are running drop-in sessions across the local area so that local people can speak to the project team and ask any questions they may have.
Commenting, Eastleigh MP Mims Davies said:
“Many constituents have been in touch with me over the future of Southampton Airport, and these drop-ins provide a perfect opportunity for people across Eastleigh and the villages to ask any questions they may have in regard to the proposed extension of the runway at Southampton Airport.
“This is a key issue for people of ALL ages in our area, and indeed only today I have been speaking with students from Cherbourg School about it, and hearing their views and the questions that they have. Like those students, I know many others have questions in relation to this, and I urge them to attend these drop-ins to have them answered."
