Mims Davies and the Eastleigh Conservatives where delighted to welcome Theresa May, the Home Secretary to Hedge End on Wednesday 1st April 2015.
Mrs May visited and to spoke local Police officers and heard about postive action on local ASB, early preventative Community action and local partnership work.
Mims Davies, " The local police team where very kind to host the Home Secretary on the day in which Hedge End Police station became a new, renergised centre for Policing actvity in the Constituency. We heard about Friday night football in Botley and the success of early intervention.
Mims continues, " We spoke about the huge concerns over legal highs and impact on famillies and communties. If elected, as a Mum, I am determined to do something about this growing menance. The Home Secretary backed the officers in their views that the is powers available but a co ordinated approach. Mrs May agreed strong further action could be expected from a new majority Conservative Government ."
