Update on Modality following my posts on 31st March and 27th April.
Well, my public words really chimed. It was not something I took lightly as pure exasperation took hold.
So much so, I am later this week hosting a key face-to-face engagement meeting with members of the Integrated Care Board (NHS Sussex) and senior Modality representatives.
I am truly very grateful for this positive opportunity to put forward the concerns of those I represent. I am pleased it’s getting the focus this matter deserves.
Jeremy Quin and I will not be holding back on sharing the strength of feeling and deep worries constituents have shared with us.
Reading your further emails, I have been truly saddened by the experiences, fears and frustrations and promise to let your concerns come across loud and clear.
My clear aim is that all in attendance will fully understand their responsibilities and deliver a better service to the residents of our communities in Mid Sussex and Horsham.
I am confident we can get this resolved and the situation sorted for constituents.
I greatly stress as I have before that we must protect and be polite to all those on the frontline who are doing their best and pursue and resolve the issues and process that are letting those working hard down and giving such a poor experience.
I will keep you updated after the meeting shortly - as promised and will continue to work hard on this matter for all those affected.
