Mims Davies MP, for Mid Sussex, attended the PSA testing event at the Triangle in Burgess Hill on Saturday 8th October. This event was organised by PCaSO Prostate Cancer Support Organisation with funding support from the Burgess Hill Lions. PCaSO is a charity for men diagnosed with prostate cancer run by patients diagnosed with prostate cancer. Over 1000 local men from Mid Sussex took up the opportunity to undergo this free PSA testing.
Whilst there Mims met a man who was identified as being high risk following his PSA testing a few years ago and was so pleased to hear how successful this program is from someone who is possibly only here today because of this testing, to tell his story.
