The UK Government’s Disability Action Plan (DAP) consultation is open for feedback until the 6th October and I encourage constituents to contribute to this.
It is aimed at anyone with an interest in the action the government will take during 2023 and 2024 to improve the lives of disabled people. Whilst disabled people and disabled people’s organisations may be particularly interested in responding, the consultation is open to anyone to respond.
The DAP will set out the immediate action the UK Government will take in 2023 and 2024 to improve disabled people’s lives, as well as laying the foundations for longer term change. The results of this consultation will inform the final plan.
More details about the consultation and options on how to respond are available here: Disability Action Plan 2023 to 2024 - GOV.UK
