Mims Davies MP was pleased to join councillors and residents of Burgess Hill for their local Remembrance Service.
Mims joined the wreath laying on Armistice Day in Burgess Hill to commemorate the armistice agreement that ended the First World War on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
Mims Davies MP said:
“It is always an honour to be able to join residents of Burgess Hill for their Remembrance Service.
This year the memorial is 100 years old - so it was especially important to be sharing this service with my constituents.
I'm thankful to be part of this service with so many veterans, cadets, young people, dear friends & colleagues.
It is so important that we can come together and take a moment of reflection to remember all of those who fought so hard for our freedom and our country and for those who continue to serve.
We will remember them.”
