Mims Davies MP was thrilled to have the opportunity to join Family Business Friday in East Grinstead at Broadleys family run business and in Westminster with Charlie Field of CPJ Field from Burgess Hill.
CPJ Field is a 300-year-old family business, creating personalised funerals for the 21st century. They have been huge advocates of this awareness of the power of family business for many years.
Mims was delighted to meet the owners of Broadleys as a leading menswear and womenswear designer clothing store located in the heart of East Grinstead High Street since 1896.
As an independent boutique they are passionate about all our collections and pride ourselves in providing exceptional customer service. They offer a huge range of amazing brands which are smart, stylish yet casual.
Family Business Week is a week-long celebration of family businesses as a force for good, and we have so many fantastic family run businesses in Mid Sussex and beyond.
Family firms are the backbone of the UK economy and the bedrock of our communities. However, the scale of their impact and contribution is often underestimated. Family Business Week is designed to ensure the contribution family firms make to our economy and communities up and down the country is recognised and celebrated. Led by Family Business UK, the week is a brilliant opportunity for everyone to get behind family businesses and show their support!

"It was brilliant to meet the friendly owners of the family-run business, Simon and his son, Alex, at Broadleys in East Grinstead today.
I would highly recommend shopping at this brilliant designer clothing store in East Grinstead.
Full of high quality products from shirts, coats, and trousers, to brilliant sparkly partywear perfect for the Christmas and New Years period, as well as essential accessories such as ties, wallets and jewellery.
What better excuse do you need to shop than with Christmas coming up - I may have even grabbed a few Christmas presents myself which I'm so excited to give on Christmas Day.
Thank you to Simon and Alex for being so welcoming in your brilliant boutique and to Charlie, Jeremy and Emily for all you in your important business we will all need at difficult times and you all do wonderful things supporting our community.
We are lucky to have you and thank you to all the local family businesses we have in our wonderful area.
