The Member of Parliament for Eastleigh, Mims Davies, has revealed the winner of her 2017 Christmas Card Competition. Congratulations to Craig Barnes of Netley Abbey Junior School!
Commenting Mims said:
“Yet again, we had some truly inspirational entries for this year’s Christmas Card Competition, and I would like to thank ALL of the students and their schools for taking part.”
“I was delighted to select Craig’s entry, which was full of colour and Christmas character, and also featured the Lighthouse from his nurture group, as the winning entry.”
“I’d also like to thank Eastleigh Football Club for sponsoring and supporting this year’s card. I am always very grateful for their ongoing support and I am looking forward to posting their card wishing them a Merry Christmas over the next few days and a successful 2018.”
Eight year old Craig Barnes is within the Lighthouse Nurture Group at the Junior School, and his design - one of dozens sent in by students across the Eastleigh constituency - will feature on the front cover of the Eastleigh MP’s Christmas Card which will be sent out to close to 1000 recipients, including the Prime Minister.
“I would also like to congratulate my six runners up, who will also feature within this year’s lovely Eastleigh Constituency Christmas Card.”
