Constituents' Health Campaigns & Issues

Mims is proud to support a number of health causes that have been flagged to her by residents, and that have become important to her from her own personal experiences.

Mims says:

'There are so many good causes championed by local people which sometimes do not get the recognition they deserve, I am passionate about increasing the visibility of good work done I am delighted to work with these charities and awareness campaigns both in the constituency and in parliament. This includes everything from running the 2017 London Marathon to raise money for Hurstwood House and CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), to asking the Secretary of State and even the Prime Minister for action on Women's Health issues.'

'Local people are very brave to come to me, both in person or via an email, to share their personal difficulties; and I feel very fortunate to be able to speak out for them and if I am elected I will be a keen advocate for all constituents in Parliament.'
